Modules

Odoo Sync is structured as four Odoo addons. Install only what your deployment needs — each transport module is optional.

🟪 sync_base

Core engine. Swarms, nodes, peers, topics, events, CIDs, schemas, and the bidirectional mapping engine. Required by all other modules.

sync_base — Core
🛰️ sync_http

HTTP transport. Native Odoo-to-Odoo delivery over HTTPS. No sidecar daemon required. Suitable for stable, routable deployments.

sync_http — Network
🪐 sync_kubo

Kubo/IPFS transport. Connects to a Kubo sidecar for IPFS content addressing and libp2p gossip. Optimal for large payloads and offline-first networks.

sync_kubo — Network
💬 sync_discuss

Discuss integration. Synchronizes Odoo Discuss channels, messages, threads, reactions, and IM status across nodes.

sync_discuss — App
📇 sync_contacts

Contacts integration. Synchronizes Odoo Contacts and associated hierarchy across independent databases.

sync_contacts — App
